The Stabilization Trust works in partnership with nationally established housing intermediaries to combine its unique set of programs and services with the locally-based organizations that have the experience, know-how, and commitment to revitalize communities.
Habitat for Humanity International
HFHI and its local Habitat affiliates have deep experience understanding community needs and providing safe, quality housing for families. HFHI has launched the national Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative to assist its U.S. affiliates using a holistic approach to community revitalization as they work to transform neighborhoods . The Stabilization Trust is helping local Habitat affiliates participating in the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative respond to the call to serve more families and renew community vitality by increasing access to properties that can be transformed into safe and affordable housing opportunities.
Rebuilding Together
Rebuilding Together, NeighborWorks America and the National Community Stabilization Trust have joined together in a new collaborative effort to support homeownership and sustainable communities across the country through the rehabilitation of vacant REO properties. As part of a three-year partnership, the Stabilization Trust will collaborate with Rebuilding Together and its locally-based affiliate organizations on new and innovative approaches to transforming vacant and dilapidated properties into safe and decent affordable homes in the communities they serve.
